Migration

New Hardware

If you want to migrate to new hardware, it's not usually necessary to reinstall IPFire. There are a commonly only few important things to do.

Architecture Change

If you reinstall a system and want to restore a backup created on an IPFire system on an other architecture, you will have to follow this guide and manually execute some commands.
