configuration:firewall:p2p-block

P2P-Block

P2P-Block offers the ability to allow or ban peer-to-peer traffic of certain file sharing programs. Supported applications, peer-to-peer networks or protocols are directly selectable on the list and can be configured individually without any effects on other items or firewall rules.

Please note, P2P-Block cannot affect encrypted traffic! To block encrypted peer-to-peer traffic you will have to create additional firewall rules.

The last two lines are the legend: Topics selected are allowed, topics not selected are blocked.

Known False Positives

The SoulSeek Filter is interrupting the communication of Tobit David Client with Tobit David Server on Port 267 and 268 UDP. Any traffic through the firewall is affected, e.g. through a VPN Tunnel. Tobit David users should not block SoulSeek.
