What is Teamspeak

TeamSpeak is an application to allow humans to talk over the Internet. Teamspeak is preferred by gamers, they want a small and good configurable application. Teamspeak is available for many different systems. On the IPfire it is used as a server.

Installation

After a successful installation of the addon with PakFire

you have to run the server with

/etc/init.d/teamspeak start

on your shell.

Handling

The first launch take some time. As example the passwords will be generated.

With the command

/etc/init.d/teamspeak passwords 

the generated passwords will be shown, you should write down them and change after your first login.

The Teamspeak Sever is now congigurable with the Webinterface. You can reach this at the following adress

http://Ip-of-the-IPFire:14534 (standard port).

After that you have to open the UDP-Port 8767 on your IPfires External Access, to make your service access able from outside.
