ncftp

ncftp is used as FTP Client for the shell at the IPFire. His excellent functions like, auto fill up of filenames, working in the background, bookmarks, downloading of whole foldertrees or folder caching makes it to a powerfull tool for the shell. You also can easiely download, upload or show the folders of the remote system.

To install ncftp just use the webinterface or the shell with:

pakfire install -y ncftp

The handling of ncftp ist very easy and intuitive.

To start ncftp just use the following command:

ncftp "FTP server adress"
